Kleurige haan / a colorfull rooster

Mijn buurvrouw Elly heeft vorige week een houten haan bij me versierd. Het is een kleurig exemplaar geworden. Eerst heeft ze de basis geschilderd met acrylverf en versierd met stippen en spiralen. Vervolgens kleurige veren toegevoegd. De haan is te bewonderen in haar keukenraam. Gelukkig kraait hij ze 's morgens niet wakker.

My neighbour Elly came last week to make this wooden rooster. It turned out colorfull as a rooster should be. First she painted the base with acrylic paint and then added the dots and spirals. Next she added colourfull feathers. The rooster can be admired in her kitchenwindowsill. Fortunately it does not crow in the morning to wake them up.
